If any formal separation is supposed to happen, it will happen after Aaradhya is in college and there’s a good 5-6 years left for that.

Besides, Ash’s mother is suffering from cancer and she has bigger priorities at hand than to file for divorce.

Ash is Indian and divorce is too much of a stigma in India. Aaradhya would be bullied in school if her parents were to divorce. Ash loves her daughter too much to let that happen to her. She will just be informally separated and she will be on friendly terms with Abhishek to co-parent Aaradhya instead of trying to formally divorce.
