Maybe he had a fetish for red, itchy noses with sinus issues

It was obvious from the get-go, the guy was a weirdo

Naaah I found it super wierd tbh

The songs and camerawork are iconic .,,,priety is as cute as a button in this and srk looked gr8 in his typical 90s styling

But the movie is such a drag….this is coming from someone who bawls her eyes out for roja and Bombay

Mani ratnam wasn’t at his best here

The supporting cast is a goldmine of then struggling now relevant artists ….gajraj rao, sheeba Chadda, Sanjay mishra, Piyussh mishra etc etc

I recently watched this movie for the first time and was expecting a great movie based on internet reviews (a movie which flopped but was actually very good).

Color me disappointed.

I did not understand why exactly SRK's character was so attracted or in love with Manisha's character that he decided to destroy himself for her.

He saw her ONCE in a train station and became obsessed - started aggressive advances even though she clearly rejected him. Then after he got beat up, still did not back off.

On the other hand, just because she was a victim, we cannot overlook Manisha's actions - she used SRK's character and his entire family for her agenda. Granted she is a terrorist, but still, it left me feeling very bitter toward her,

SRK's character after understanding that Manisha's character was using him, did not take a stand for himself or his family. Instead, he, in turn, started using Preity's character.

Ugh.

The ending was loose too. Okay, SRK prevented Manisha from bombing the Rajpath, but what about the other terrorists who were present there (Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Mita Vashist and the others)? Were they identified and arrested? How did the government stop them from further plans? Anyone else could be the next suicide bomber.

What about SRK Mom? She was in the police station answering for him as police thought SRK was a terrorist too.

No closure at all.

It had some good patches - acting was great, songs were terrific and Preity's character was refreshing, but the main premise - why SRK was so obsessed with Manisha - was not clear to me.

Also, if the terrorist organization was ULFA which is based on Assam, then why were they mentioning Ladakh a couple of times?

Anyone else did not like this film?

After the srk manisha climax scene there are end credits being shown in that it can be seen as to what happened to the others who were with manisha

Movie was hyped a lot and was somewhat similar to what happened to rajiv Gandhi in 1991

Chaiya chaiya was a treat to watch in theatres after song finished movie dived and was boring

Preity zinta debut movie she looked cute songs were great 👍

It's just a decent movie with the plot line, nothing great. Bombay and Roja were at a different level. The soundtrack is one of the top 3 albums I've heard in my life and that's the legacy of the movie along with introducing preity zinta.

I did not like it when I watched it when it released, being small could be a factor, movies like KKHH made me happier. But even after growing up I didnt like it. I despised SRK’s stalker attitude and I couldnt get past it the whole time. It wasn’t romantic. And glad both died in the end. smiley24
