OT yet to see the movie. From the trailer it looked like about father-son relationship and lot of violence. Violent movie should not be a problem. But given his history Vanga certainly can put some scenes to trigger certain sections of audience/critics but hard to believe that could be the main theme of the movie and not the father/son and revenge/violence story arc.

No, I don't believe he would accept the movie even if he knew it would be a hit. If he turned it down, it's clearly because he felt the role was not suitable for him and too dark so I give him props for rejecting this role. The likes of Ranbir would take it.

Given that the guy is always pulling off some cheap stunts to stay afloat in the news, the theme of the movie probably wouldn't matter to him. In fact, there's even more reason for him to justify it in the name of art and cinema, etc. I don't think a personality like his is above a movie like Animal. The level of success that Animal has reached is off the charts. Whether you and I call it bakwas doesn't really matter. Ranveer and his fans would kill to see him achieving that kind of success.
