If Deepika had any grudges against Ranbir, she wouldn't had signed 2 movies with him. And if Ranbir had problem with Deepika, he would had replaced her. Not only that they even showed up at the reunion. And Ranbir Kapoor made a joke how he be uncle and her kids will love his movies where Ranveer expression was uhm what?

Both are good friends and hug each other at the awards. I believe they wish well for each other.

FYI - I am not Ranbir’s die hard fan nor do I hate DP.

This whole situation and her holding onto past relationships or at least talking about them to stay in the news is definitely going to impact Ranveer's career, especially when it comes to appealing to the male middle to lower-class audience. These people are like the backbone for male stars to reach that stardom status. They're the ones who can bring in a whopping 30 to 50 crore on an opening day, no matter who the director is.

Now, here's the thing – this audience wants their hero to be all macho. If not the full-blown misogynist alpha male, they at least don't want him to come off as, well, cuck.
