Ranveer is now making a conscious effort to not be like this in front of the cameras anymore, as he said in the kwk episode, he is wearing more neutral colours, over the past few months he has become alot more serious and doesn't play up for the paps anymore. Usually on kwk he is bit over the top, but for this episode he wasn't, he was alot more serious. Even for rrkpk promotions he was alot more toned down than what he usually is in the past.

That is good for him if he is really trying to change his public behavior and show how he really is. That fake image he was trying to sell didnt work.

This video was from 2014-2015, around the time they were casual dating. What he was doing was really embarrassing.

The episode is NOT a disaster only for the rival fans. It can be considered successful for Deepika and Ranveer if your definition of success involves people creating memes about you and mocking you . In that case, it's a significant success, especially for Deepika, as the last time she generated this level of buzz was when "Besharam Rang" was released. Ranveer didn't even create this buzz with Rocky Rani. I don't even remember the last time people talked about him so much.

If this is your measure of success, then kudos to them and their fans. Meanwhile, KJo and his group are celebrating behind their back.

I guess he was trying to annoy anushka and pull her leg like how they used to do with each other during BBB days, in their kwk interview they were both trying to one up each other on who can annoy the other the most. So i guess in that interview he was trying to do the same but anushka wasn't reacting to it like she used to.

Yes he is trying to change his image, alot of the stuff he used to say and do was just for the camera, like a character he would try to play, I guess to look unique and different, but now that image isn't working, and ranveer realises this, he knows about the negativity he has gotten and the damage it was doing to him, so he is trying to show more of the real side that he has hidden for many years, the side that deepika has mentioned she would only see, more serious and calm, because he wants people to take him more seriously.

Ranveer is no schmuck that needs saving from villain DP by internet people. He has had his fair share of relationships during the courtship period with DP. He even admitted to it in the episode but not so much in detail as DP, because not everyone has the foot-in-mouth disease as her.

As for equal partnership, it is a myth bhailog. There is nothing like equal partnership. How much ever you try there will always be one partner sacrificing/compromising more than the other in the relationship. It is usually the woman, with either leaving their careers after bacha log; or if working, handling both house and kids; transferring where her husband goes. And the balance is already skewed when women have to leave their families and adjust to her husband's. Guys court girls harder with gifts and what not. Again skewed balance. Now if a girl is after a guy with the same fervour, then it is unladylike. I mean you don't have to look far. Look in your own homes. Tell me mothers haven't sacrificed more compared to fathers in the way they have wanted to live. That doesn't demonise the fathers (because they do shoulder their share of responsibilities) but states the simple fact that balance in relationships is never, ever there.

Of course, DP is privileged enough to not have to deal with all this. She is blessed to have found Ranveer who was there for her through tough times. Now for once it is a man who is the bigger compromiser in a relationship and all hell breaks loose.

Alia compromises more in her relationship which is certainly obvious to anyone (from not talking too loud, mingling with the Kapoors, particularly Neetu. Does Ranbir share the same camaraderie with Soni and Mahesh?). Similarly Kat does in hers. She has tried to assimilate to a different culture, to a different family and customs. Do we put the same expectation on Vicky that he attend every holiday that Kat's large family celebrates? Of course, these are not pointed out because the other person is happy to compromise because "love". Ranveer might feel the same way. It's is neither disrespectful nor cheating.

Maybe I missed it, but I did not catch him admitting to that in the episode.

I do see why Anu was so annoyed though. I would have been too if I was in a serious mood and someone acted that crazy around.

Makes me think Anu lucked out with Virat. Virat is someone who she seems to have always wanted and fancied. Famous, no- nonsense attitude and a hero in all the senses. He would make RS appear clownish in comparison.
