It is the duty of the producer to provide refreshments and basic amenities. Must be one of the staff people that took the extra packets but Masand obviously wanted to milk some juicy gossip from it. If only if it were juicy enough.

That's what I always think first...that these blinds are made up...especially with that sc*mbag Masand.. so, it's a big "IF" (not = India Forums, but "if ever")...However, I also came across rich people with a strange sense for belonging...taking everything from the *****hotel's bathroom, mini-fridge and other supplies when leaving... (that happens also at stage shows, when some artists take food and beverages when leaving their dressing room after the show)

Yeah cos people really come in and ask “kaha se liya yeh?” as opposed to “cute fish”.

Not at all odd. It's common to expect basic hygiene and refreshments at your place of work. I travel on my consulting gigs and everything from food to travel to accommodation is paid for by my employer.
