You have said she has no movie career now because she is choosing not to work but have you considered why she is not choosing to work? You have heard her patriarchal in-laws comment on who should be breadwinner of the family and even Abhishek saying he can see his father in different roles as an actor but his mother is not someone he can see as an actress in her movies. You do not think they are pressuring her to stay at home and rear the children?

Hrithik and Katrina are already in good shape. If they’re training it’s for a specific look or just to tone themselves. Not the same thing as Aishwarya who is currently overweight and has been for a couple of years now. Again, if this was a drama or a comedy or any other genre it wouldn’t have mattered but for an action movie it makes a difference.

Aishwarya being offered Jawan is speculation as far as I can tell but if you are choosing to believe it then fine.

No I do not believe that her patriarchal in laws are pressuring her to stay home. That’s ridiculous. Aishwarya is no one’s doormat and whatever she’s doing or not doing are her own decisions. Other than social media dramatization and gossip there’s been no solid evidence that the Bachchans are making her do anything or that they even have any control over her.

Second bold: No it doesn’t. HNY barely became a hit (or maybe a semi hit) and that too with Deepika. Ash never had a bigger pull than Deepika. SRK approached Ash for a remake of an old Kishore Kumar Madhubala movie and she agreed to it but he got really caught up in Dilwale (and breaking records) and that movie was put on a back burner and eventually dropped.

If you want to blame anyone for her career then blame Salman. If he wasn’t an abusive 🍆 Ash would have had blockbusters like Veer Zara and hits like Chalte Chalte. SLB would have probably would made Bajirao Mastani back then with Ash like he always wanted to. Btw, I know SRK played a role here too and he’s not absolved.

I wish SRK had stood his ground and asked Sallu to f off instead he replaced Ash.

Do you think he is going to introduce Deepika as starring in the movie by claiming "oh, she actually wasn't our first choice. We had multiple other choices before her but we settled down with her once everyone else refused for some reason or another..."

Of course NOT! Why would he claim anything but that Deepika was the first choice in the video. That does not negate the fact that media reports reveal the truth that she was not the first considered and others were approached.

There have been lots of movies where makers were clear about their first choices, then saying it worked out for the best.
