I had no idea about that, so it has done well overseas too, maybe OP needs to correct his post. That report specifiaclly states that overseas BO collection is 300+ crore which is very good collection.

That's the 4th highest overseas 1st weekend collection of 2023 behind only Pathan, RRKPK & KKBKKJ. It's quite good for a completely desi film. Kuch bhi...

It's not 300 cr overseas. It was worldwide collection at the time of tweet..has increased now. But what it collected overseas also cannot be put in disaster category

This movie is really a 'thing' in India - and there (I guess) mainly in the Hindi belt. I think that most of the NRIs don't get this feeling of nostalgia and aren't genuinely attracted to watch this movie and I also guess that Sunny hasn't the same 'draw' overseas like he has in India.

Actually, I doubt that the movie had been made with the oversea's market in mind...it was made for the masses in India with the kind of message that is more tailored for the audience in the homeland.

Edit: I did not inform myself about the oversea's box office...so, maybe, I'm mistaken and the enthusiasm is similar to the one in India...😳
