Watched the movie second time, this time like an independent movie, and enjoyed it a lot. Utkarsh Sharma was more tolerable and his track didn’t seem never ending. Poor guy got too much flak but he was literally playing a supporting role and adding the youth factor to the movie. He and Muskaan worked their behinds off, especially him.Come to think of it, it’s a sacrifice to choose to be in the shadow of a lead with a commanding screen presence. At no time did neither of them tried to take the limelight. Anil Sharma didn’t dilute the essence of Tara Singh and Sakeena. Story also flowed better with the anecdotes from its prequel frequenting every now and then to make people like me happy. No wonder it is working wonders at the box office.

My favorite scene is when he asks the general to choose From Bhagawadgeeta and Quran and the guy in fear chooses Gita , only to get thrashed more because he didn’t choose both. ❤️

There were a lot of children in the theater laughing and having a merry time. No cringe romantic scenes, no cleavage shows, no semi clad women to make one feel awkward. Tickets priced at minimum. No jazzy stuff like IMAX etc. Pure family entertainment at affordable price. This movie is going to be a text book to the future movie makers.

Indeed. The father-son scenes are poignant. I also love the ones in the beginning in which he constantly gets scolded. 😆

His scolding also is so affectionate. He has only two speeds, love and anger. 😆 But the amount of love and understanding they both share, in fact even with his other son, it’s amazing.

Sunny Deol's dialogue delivery needs no words. The amount of power he exudes is unmatched. Even in mediocre films he has some good dialogues. The Ghatak videos have insane views on YT.

I think it is okay to leave the buzz to Gadar2 for the time being... There is no reason to make Jawan compete with Gadar2, imo.
