Sonu Nigam helped bhushan kumar when his father passed away , Bhushan started his journey with Dewana Sonu Nigam album....the issues started in 2013 when Sonu Nigam took a stance for royalty and illegal contract due to which music labels banned him for some years, but now i think it all sorted out

The royalty issue with singers isn't exactly sorted out...even at the recent press conference which distributed some 50 crores, there were points that don't have clarity for now.

Mainly since, in India, mainstream singers have earned more than the songwriters because of live shows. Because lets be honest, people would watch Alka, Udit, Sonu perform over the people who made the songs.

The Copyright Act covers authors, composers and lyricists...which singers aren't. Also things are getting more complicated because of AI...that has to be streamlined to avoid unethical practices. No idea how it'll pan out eventually.

In BW, family is just a casual word. It doesn't mean anything.

yes royalty thing is not yet properly sorted out but i guess the back dated contracts which singers were asked to sign is in place now , the contract which sonu was asked to sign and he declined for which his songs in kick, yjhd,main tera hero got dubbed perhaps that issue seems to be resolved

these stars singers can earn money from live shows but there are plenty of singers who were great at one point but are not super sucess as a career would be getting less shows i guess it be amit kumar/shabir kumar and infact muhammad aziz also was nothing like udit/sonu/kumar/alka thing i rarely got to hear his shows were sold out etc......there are only few selective star singers but there are many great singers who were underrated and has amount of great songs will get the benefit or royalty thing and yes most of which is deserved to be for lyrics writer/ composer/ arranger who work on a track to shape it well ....you cant say if sonu nigam is charging more for his shows or arijit singh charging more for his shows that even every singer is in position to charge more

it was all about treating new comers the way he himself was subject to treatment bycot thing his songs started getting dubbed etc etc but yes one thing which will never get fix that is using multiple singers for one song and select one version out of all .......dhindora baje was also sung by naqash aziz his version is no where ...singers oftenly dont get paid for filmy singing in moive
