these stars singers can earn money from live shows but there are plenty of singers who were great at one point but are not super sucess as a career would be getting less shows i guess it be amit kumar/shabir kumar and infact muhammad aziz also was nothing like udit/sonu/kumar/alka thing i rarely got to hear his shows were sold out etc......there are only few selective star singers but there are many great singers who were underrated and has amount of great songs will get the benefit or royalty thing and yes most of which is deserved to be for lyrics writer/ composer/ arranger who work on a track to shape it well ....you cant say if sonu nigam is charging more for his shows or arijit singh charging more for his shows that even every singer is in position to charge more

Illegal contracts have been sorted out for everyone.

It depends actually, singers are a grey area since they do what they are instructed to do, like musicians and programmers/arrangers.

In some cases out of the subcontinent, some singers might get a percentage because the albums are sold based on their image...even though they did not compose or write the song.

@bold: The figure might be very close...tho if it were up to me, Sonu should be earning at least 10 times more than Arijit, given his insane singing ability. 😆

they wanna earn from songs but not pay the ones who made it.
