Debates happen. It's a public forum. People have diff opinions. We have different styles and ways when it comes to debates. Some are to the point and savage, some articulate and some go for essays and then there are those with word salads like Deepika's interviews.

Its fine. People deal with situations in different ways. Some people move on quickly some take their own sweet time. So no one should feel guilty over ranveer singh and korean skin. Pfft.

@bold: I didn’t even do anything. Just one liners here and there

The fight on your thread took place between two people who were actively present to defend their stance. Apples and oranges. If you cannot grasp that, then I got nothing to say. Ciao

Been reading you say "can not actively defend themselves" a couple of times now... she hasn't been banned, she has CHOSEN to deactivate from what I can see. So it is not a matter of can't, but doesn't want to. Now coming to the topic, not sure what actions or who caused her to deactivate her account... but this forum should be taken lightly. Hope she is ok.

Lets agree to disagree. I think it’s a matter of personal ethics. To me, it doesn’t feel right taking snide digs at someone who is not present to refute them. Absent by choice or due to a ban is irrelevant to me.

They always stick to the point. However it's never a fair fight when 6-7 users gang up on a single person. Shit gets thrown. None of us are saints here.

I don’t think I have seen her personally attack members on here either and I’ve argued with her plenty. Unless my memory is failing me. She is extremely passionate about her views but I don’t think that counts as personal attack.

A break is always good for some introspection and clarity of thought.

Best wishes to her.

Anyway xeta, I also wanted to say I typed out a long arse reply to your post on that Korean Vs Indian beauty standards, only to find the topic closed.

I wish mods wouldn't be so quick to close down topics where people are discussing. Speaking for myself, I actually learnt a thing or two from your post and other members on that one.

Oh don’t worry about it. I am glad you learned something but so do I from you and many others. This forum is not all shits and giggles. It can really churn out thought provoking posts at times.

But I hear ya on not shutting down threads. Wouldn’t that be something? I was once having a positive interaction with a newbie member on here and mid way they got blown apart into oblivion. They weren’t even a troll? I was like wut? I do have to say, Maddy and Simran will always retain their mod queen status. Both were always emotionally intelligent and fair.

Yes. It was unfortunate that the threads happened back to back. The gang-up wasn't intentional at all. For me, both the threads touched a raw nerve and I took it way more seriously than I should have. Other members may have felt the same.

Everyone on this forum knows I don't like Ranveer and I have gotten into heated arguments for dissing him. In hindsight, it feels so silly to invest so much time and effort to defend him. But I felt compelled to keep going. Just unfortunate how it turned out.

But I have needed a reset after taking things too personally to remind myself it's just a forum. So, I am hopeful she comes back after resetting. She's one of the few people who makes topics that are interesting for a lengthy discussion.

I agree 💯 because that applies to me, also. So I resonate with it, completely. Thank you for always being so intellectually honest. 🙏

Dear John Atominis,

I regret not having enough opportunities to interact with you as much as I would have wanted.

Nethertheless, I greatly enjoyed your threads and found your vast general knowledge ... remarkable. Coupled with your sense of humour and kindness ❤️

I admire your writing style, the way in which you construct sentences which turn into paragraphs .. which ultimately turn into your point put across coherently.. seamlessly ... it was a pleasure to read.

I loved how you can be intelligent and funny at the same time..

adddditonally... RIP aishistrash. Now i know why you keep leaving.. my heart is broken twice.

PS. Good day to you dex
