Think this way and see what answer you reach

If you get so uncomfortable now, how will you handle it if it actually escalates in future? And won't you feel miserable then for ignoring your own feeling?

Of course, there is a possibility of you overthinking too. But some of the things you stated do sound concerning...like him talking about your ancestral property or him not professional at work place. Also one's colleagues get to see a side of his/her personality that he/she always want to gloss in front of partner. So even if he is committed to you and love you dearly, think about if you will be able to deal with his remaining part of personality.

Judge him as a person first. What I mean is forget about romantic feelings and connection. Judge him like you would judge any person in ur life. He’s not your bf or potential relationship u will sabotage…he’s just another person on this planet. Analyse his behaviour, ethics and personality and then ask urself how u feel about it. Trust what ur gut tells u then and follow it.

Why would your grandpa's property be even yours for him to assume so?

Totally depends, it could be a matter of self sabotaging too as you said you have had a traumatic past. But then again, you seem to have reasons to back up your gut here... so I'd just be careful and take it slow.

Gut feeling. Go with that.

He doesn't sound genuine.

My belief is that we have so-called guardien angels who want to protect us from harm. Personally, I think that the souls of people who cared for me when alive still care for me after the death of their physical part (if they aren't quickly reborn).

So, what we call gut-feeling, is a warning or encouraging or an impulse we get through the souls caring for us.

Gut-feeling isn't the same as fear, I think. Fear is more that was DheeJattanDi calls "self sabotaging"...you would like to do something but fears hinders you to do it.

Going with what you told us, it's a warning, a feeling that wants to protect you from doing something that won't be good for your future life and which would give you lots of negative experiences and emotional stress.

There could be other possibilities to leave the toxic environment you live in. Ask them to help finding options that will be more serene than this relationship. (and don't give in to something you don't feel wholeheartedly you should do it...please)

Your body is rejecting him not just your mind because your gut knows. Last time I ignored my gut, I ended up in a six year long hell(called it hell back then, now I call it a lesson) but I digress.

The examples you shared of his behavior are problematic to say the least. I read through it and highlighted some things you should likely pay more attention to or read about if you need to sleep on this some more before you make your choice. He has narcissistic tendencies.

Feel free to reach out to me if you want. I have a bunch of resources I can share with you on how to survive and move on from a narcissist.

This is not a one and done issue. You likely won’t be able to simply break up with him and cut off ties. Doesn’t work like that. You will constantly feel a push and pull. Dating someone like this comes with it’s own high. So I urge you to be kind to yourself and take it one day at a time if you feel like you’re taking two steps forward and one step back while going through this process. You will eventually be able to completely let go. But focus on Baby steps for now. Best of luck!

You should always trust your gut especially when something seems of an about a prospective partner. Or anyone trying to lure your or showcasing no respect for boundaries. Your gut instinct is an inherent tool made to protect you. A shield that has been there for ages. If something is off about a person you will experience discomfort and that is the inherent sign to get away.

I also IMMENSELY regret not listening to my gut last time I encountered a creep. You should always listen to it.

The red flags you spotted are right on the mark. I can point out more. But we all can agree this guy is showing serious signs of danger.
