So... Since this Adipurush controversy and its comparison with Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan I had been faintly remembering something that I read years ago. It was about some strange incidents regarding divine saints meeting and inspiring Ramanand Sagar during the making of Ramayan but I couldn't remember those stories as I had read about those many years back in some newspaper or magazine probably....

I also remembered reading about how some people created lots of problems in telecast of Ramayan, one of them being Bhaskar Ghosh - father of Sagarika Ghosh (the famous leftist 'journalist' and Rajdeep sardesai's spouse). I didn't remember his name but when this video mentioned Bhaskar Ghosh immediately recognised the name. This video mentions about that incident too.

Anyways watch this video and for more related videos or anecdotes just search for - Ramanand Sagar + Maha avatar baba. There are some other good ones too about related incidents about Ramayan. 🙏

That Thapar aunty is the cousin of Karan Thapar who takes pride in insulting people he interviews..in the guise of asking tough questions. He made a Hero like Kapil Dev cry on National TV

I faintly remember of hearing similar stories/experiences Ramanand Sagar had experienced back then.. but hearing this particular one for the first time (the one you shared in opening post).
