Socializing is important to some extent. After all we live in a society.🤡

Problem is people have glamourized socializing. Not having a thriving social life is considered not having a life. Extrovertism is promoted.

One year back I would have said I love my me time. Lockdown was a blessing for me. But since the lockdown ended, my social skills got worst. Now I just feel lonely. I've no one to form a connection. Old friends are gone. Can't find new ones. I'm stuck.

I'll say you can only enjoy your me time when you HAVE a social group, even if its small. You got to have something.

first question: No, they aren't (at least not imo).

second question: I go with the flow...what life gives me...I can enjoy both, I love both..

Being with kids, being with the family (for example) is okay because I also take time being only with me

Being with a friend/friends is only for a limited time and I can focus during that time on being with him/her/them enjoying it 😊

I am a free spirit. If I like you, I’ll stay tuned in. If I don’t like you, I got no problem completely disengaging. I don’t exist for people pleasing.
