I think this is a good question. It depends on investors. TJMM does not have the same calibre of investment as whatever this Salman movie is.

They have likely included a HUGE OTT sale for TJMM to advertise it as a success, as BO wise I believe TJMM is Average, or it just about made back its budget like JJJ.

One problem with Salman is that he goes all in on all his movies, every loser has a piece of the pie in his movies. It has to be a big financial success for everyone to profit. The only exception is Wanted when Salman had some sense.

KJO doesn't always have this many investors. Like he said, he had too many investors for SOTY, so while the movie was hit on paper, it was actually a flop and did not make back money. Similarly, Salman's movie here has a higher chance of not making back money.
