Selfiee's daily returns need to be in double digits to ...

sustain a budget of 110-115 crore in making the movie.

Sorry (no, not really) for the Hindi (commercial part of the) Industry...if one doesn't want to learn from experiences and skip - in my eyes - unnecessary remakes from other Indian movies, then those results aren't astonishing (but hopefully a red flag!)

I read about another - planned - remake of another Indian movie: Love Today...I really hope that this remains on the rumour level!!!

There is a time for everything...NOW, I feel, it's not the time of churning out remakes of Indian movies in an Indian filmindustry.

Drishyam was an exception, I think, because of the fabulous story (which seems to generate a remake from a Western filmindustry)...but it is just that: you can transport THIS story into other cultures...

Sometimes the timing of a movie's release could actually be ...

One of the most important factors affecting how well a movie does.

rck, the timing can be a factor sometimes...

Some members pointed out a lot of other reasons why - since theatres could be opened to the audience again - so many Hindi movies failed to be economically successful.

Actually, investors could do surveys to get to know why people went to the respective movie and why not...

Relative to Selfiee I imagine that there could be a certain Akshay-fatigue...
