Her role had a lot of potential but as usual writing department took a break that day, they didn't develop her character properly. Hope fighter is better for her.

post 2015..this couldn't happen..padmavat despite the huge success was all ranveer..he emerged the best thing in the movie..chapaak flopped..gehraiyan flopped..and pathan is the biggest BB but obv its shahrukh everywhere and rightly so

I feel after 5 years..this is a hit for her..padmavat was her last hit..so it has done her well that way..of course her role wasn't bad but yeah not what srk or john's role was in the movie..

Darling is one of the most viewed 2022 released Indian movie in Netflix with 6.7 million views and Gehraiyaan got 6.2 million views.

I don't know how they calculates the verdict of Amazon prime released movie as unlike Netflix they don't release correct data on views in the year end . But for the makers Gehraiyaan done a profitable business as they sold it for 100 crores .

The fact is author backed powerful roles for actresses is rare nowadays. She was lucky to get Veronica,Piku and meenamma. I would say her acting in Gehraiyaan was too good but it was a niche film and the endless controversies during the release affected it. But most of the reviewers appreciated DP acting in that movie.

Though DP's haters mocks her , the huge success of Pathaan will bring her back to the game as it gave her unparalleled visibility and atleast everyone unanimously agreed that she looked hot in the movie.

Regarding hatred,I don't know why people never miss a chance to bash her ,it is like people are waiting for an opportunity to bash her. Surprisingly she stayed away from stupid posts, pr article last year .Definitely the Drug allegations is not the reason as other actors who involved in this controversy is still adored by the members.

So She has earned enough of fame, films and everything else that goes with a film.
