yup that was the only hindi movie trailer attached to it
Always wanted movies which experimented like this..
While they tried to justify both sides of ideologies and perspectives, they clearly did a better job with Gandhi because he is much better documented.
The majority of the film is about Godse learning why Gandhi did what he did; It is only in the climax that Gandhi also learns something from Godse..
Spoiler ahead:
It ends with Godse saving Gandhi life and they end up becoming friends (ye kuch zyada hogya) 😆

reality is different godse is celebrated by those in power
The deification of Gandhi is a problem with the mentality of the average Indian.
Gandhi was a human and a product of his time and above a all a politician.
Godse was also a human and a product of the times.
What Godse did was absolutely wrong and should not have happened but all the decisions that Indians were made to take because of Gandhi's pressure was also not right. Many of those decisions harmed Hindus the most.
After the Naokhali riots where the Hindus were massacred Gandhi went there to extol the virtues of non violence to the Muslims but was told that no one would listen and that he should leave.
He then went to Bihar where riots were done by Hindus in retaliation to Naokhali and got an audience from the obedient Hindus.
What I am trying to say is Gandhi is not God and should not be free from criticism. Even God should not be free from criticism for that matter.
Godse is wrong because he killed another human being.
Source: Trust me?
Godse learns from Gandhi that killing is not the solution, and Gandhi learns from Godse that his idealistic life choices are hurting his own people.
