I do not agree with the concept of equating Gandhi with Godse and calling it a war of ideologies.

Gandhi was an ideological thinker......Godse was just a brainwashed murdering thug, with Savarkar as his ideological mentor.

There is no equating here.

Just hate such movies where they try to glorify the murderer.

Ab Gandhiji ka ye waqt laya gaya ke unka muqabla ek brainwashed murderer se kiya jayega? Godse is nothing but a murderer. Topic closed!

It took a lifetime of Gandhiji’s work for the world to know his ideology, let alone comprehend it.. You want to have a debate on his ideology, then bring a proper argument to the table. Not the brainwashed murderer twits like Godse or the cowards like Savarkar who couldn’t even own up to what they did.

Anand Ranganathan always comes well researched. Still shocked to hear that Gandhi ji said this. Can this be debated without name calling anyone?

Rather than Godse vs Gandhi. More suitable debate is Bose vs Gandhi. One gave us non-violent movement and other gave us Army.

Was this satire, or Gandhiji was serious here? Can someone fact check?

Just google for gandhi with these key words - celibacy expeiments n*de bathing Amtus Salam, sleeping *ude with underage girls including his neice, wife's death due to his denying 'alien medicine' (penicillin) but himself took alien medicines when needed later..

There's so much that it can't be covered in a few tweets.

Read this 👇 it's a good starting point. You can also Cross check all the information on Google if u have any doubts

He is quoting verbatim from the hundred volumes of Mahatma Gandhi.

Also it is fact- checked that after Partition when SIKH and Hindu refugees came from Pakistan and took shelter in Delhi mosques, Gandhi ji went on Fast until refugees are removed and mosques are emptied.

Godse’s reason to get angry at Mahatma was that it was cold in the night and refugees were asked out, women and kids. That triggered him so much.

Mahatma’s secularism came at the cost of Hindus and Sikh lives. But he was hell bent on living upto his ideals. Doesn’t matter if women and kids gets slaughtered.
