First she was pressured into doing something about it through judgy Aunties, then you came and mocked her actions further.

So what makes it different here ? Because you like Aloo as an actress (which you have admitted plenty of times) and you don’t like Katrina. You can say you are not a fan. But anyone who has observed you here knows you have even developed a personal liking for her ? Like I say if it is wrong in one case. It should be wrong in all circumstances. I have never morally preached to you about the Botox picking because once again just because I have become fond of Kat after she saw Vicky as a person not his social status or appearance that others don’t have a right to dislike her. She clearly can not manage to entertain you in a way you prefer. Fair enough! But are there a different set of rules for her ? Again, I am asking you to explain the difference. Saira was cute, padosan is one super entertaining movie of hers and one of the all time famous ones in hindi. she looks very pretty and acts decently well enough

the difference is in those days even actresses who just looked pretty had good acting chops (asha, saira) unlike the stars of today

yes, very true

madhubala was talented, mughal e azam is a once a lifetime role and she killed it, compare it to deepika in baji rao (blank eyes) and deepika is among the better ones today but competition was such in those days that madhubala was more known for beauty and ranked below performers like nargis, nutan or meena kumari

I don’t blame people for wanting an entire package or someone with some bit of acting skills. Even though Katrina mostly does roles of a glam doll that didn’t require much acting. Like I said I went from being neutral to liking her after her marriage with Vicky. Deepika on the other hand did manage to showcase talent in Peeku and Finding Fanny.

But she is still behind Aloo. Who even I don’t think is as great as she is made out to be. Even Madhuri was an average/decent actress with great dancing skills and beauty.

this i agree, deepika is closest to a old world bw heroine (same as madhuri) and definetly she gave great performances in piku etc.

agree about alia too

i think the issue is in those days they cast more sensibly, like manisha (no dance skills but good actress got roles like khamoshi or bombay), nobody put madhubala in a mother india

the problem is nowadays they are not that versatile but the few unsurp all roles (like alia in a kalank was miscast)

Yes, only difference is that, (now I am going to say this about my own personal favorite in the 90s) was stunning before her alcoholism and health issues. I became more fond of Tabu early 2000s. Besides the dancing skills she was pretty close to a perfect package. Her smile was enchanting and features unique but attractive.

Once again I am just going to leave this here! Because I have seen similar parties showing the same over sensitive reaction if Aloo’s versatility discussed. Bashing other people’s favorite because their fans bash Aloo here and there. It is moral policing to the point where the aim seems to be to shut down any form of disagreement or criticism about a particular celeb.

Again judgy auntie name calling was one of the many personal attacks done here. Previously it was Mohalla wali Auntie for anyone who called Aloo’s wedding cheap. Or talked about her having the same outfit as Kangana. Other name calling done for people who discussed the baby track theory or mentioned how RK was not as into Aloo as his other ex. There has not been a single form of criticism where similar behavior was not exhibited by the same group of people.

Or anyone who judged RK for being married at 40. Or even Neetu for being critical of RK’s outsider exes.

I see heavy doses of Tripti and Vicky bashing coming. With threats to bash her more if anyone of there fans gets on the slight defensive. Again once again a previous pattern of behavior.
