It surely wasn't nice from Ranbir's side to make this comment in front of a camera...and equally it wast nice what some members here wrote concerning Alia + Ranbir getting a baby.

Still, there is a difference, I think, as the unkindness here most probably won't reach Alia and so wouldn't be of any (public) concern.

Businessmen technically aren’t the same as industrialists &’I was talking about the massive industrialists, not businessmen, and the more old-money they are, the less likely they’re to marry an actress. Businessmen/industrialists inherit their businesses/ industries & that’s precisely the reason why their families get so much say in who they marry. 😆 They’re usually a family enterprise & even if they would want to, (and I doubt many many would) it’s severely looked down upon to marry an actress in their world (yes even today) Not everyone is an Anil Ambani who apparently fought to marry Tina when DBA wanted to disinherit him for wanting to marry Tina (this was all over the papers I believe & has been hinted too by them)

I don’t think shedding clothes or not shedding them to make it big, is some sort of virtue lol. Karan backing her isn’t an issue unless you’re an actress wanting to break into BW. As an audience member, it has negative 0 value to our lives.

I agree, Tina and Anil is an exception, they had to fight it to get approval, she lived in Australia for couple of years till he finally turned his dad

A additional factor is family background, a non controversial, educated, even non filmy traditional one will be more acceptable and here mahesh Bhatt is shady

Which is why a juhi, gayatri or Asin will be more acceptable (aka "respectable")

With the increasing surge in 'THE PUBLIC CAMERA EFFECT' ...

Some Actors are beginning to comprehend how to titrate their EXPOSURE.

This quality is only instinctively apparent in just a handful BW Actors.

RK's imagery seems to change colors of sorts, grabbing the contours ..

And shades of the surrounding fruitless Bollywood environment.

'A fox to know where the traps are' ... Seems to be his better approach 👍🏼

It is same morally - You can’t support/practice one and criticize other.

And if those strangers are so concerned about her self esteem (regarding her husband’s comment ) perhaps May be they should refrain from making similar comment online too! Otherwise it’s called double standards.

It is same. No ifs and buts.

The argument that she may or may not see an online comment is so flawed. What if she saw these mean comments and it made her cry. Bravo, You just made a pregnant lady cry. Now go feel good about your wokeness.

And Ranbir joking about her weight gain was a banter. These over sensitive peeps crying about it is funny. Wokeness applies there but doesn’t when you discuss her crow’s feet. 🤣

Do more people feel that Alia & Ranbir are over-exposed ...

In a seemingly failing Bollywood commercial cinema Industry ?

Why are you always asking me these philosophical questions? What am I? Sadhguru of the forum?
