I am fed up of discussions on Bachchans. No one discusses even Deols, Khanna and Kapadia or others as much as people discuss them.

Not everyone has filmi romantic lives or so called Baghban type lovey dovey couple at even old age.

Most people marry due to social pressure or family compulsions or financial reasons or out of desperation or over caste, religion or class issues or for money or to go abroad or get benefits in career or business or property.

Not everyone is in love like shown in films. So why discuss or nitpick at all? People also fall out of love. Outgrow or get fed up of each other. Aamir sounded so much in love with Reena in 90s when he did interview with Simi. But he divorced her and later also divorced Kiran.

Things happen. Most South Asian couples remain married all life only for social pressure and have fights daily but tolerate it like some submission to fate or karma. Not all are happy. I do not understand psychoanalysis of couples here.

People often do not even get along with their kids and parents and kids have stormy relationship. So what? It happens and there is no idealism.

Jaya ji is well liked, but her BOSSY predisposition may not be compatible FOR SOME in romance. Bachchan ji doesn't mind it. 😲

Good question. I think it's a case of MUI, married under the influence.😛😆

Haan yaar, why? 😛After all, he's just a suave well- spoken reasonably nice looking guy who's the scion of one of the most famous families in India, and has done quite well on his own. There are are so many guys she could have found better, no?😛😉

I disagree. Alia deserves RK. Both are perfect for one another.

That video of Abhishek and Ash. Abhishek can be very moody. He actually got better since he's been with Ash. He was even worse before when dealing with cameras. That doesn't make him a bad guy. He can be jerk sometimes. I've seen it in enough videos but we all have negative qualities.

I think they both married for love but I sense that Ash does a lot of the heavy lifting in their marriage

I loved the way Simi Garewal conducted her interviews

None of the gossipy backbiting, mohalla aunty/uncle vibes like Koffee with Karan.

She was well mannered, empathetic and brought out the most real emotions and confessions out of the celebs she interviewed ❤️ They never felt attacked, judged, pounced upon by an opportunist for TRPs. Wish we could have that kind of vibe back.

While I agree, I really don't think the celebs coming on KWK feel attacked or judged by KJO. Most of them know what he is like and take it in their stride. They seem more worried about the backlash they would get on social media for their actions and words on this show

And tbh, Rendezvous with Simi during social media are would have caused similar concerns. Half of them would have called simi fake and pretentious (I think she was, to some extent) while the other half would open threads like this judging, attacking and pouncing upon the celebs for sharing their 'true emotions'

Rendezvous with Simi was one of the best chat show/talk show even with guests who are from the fields which are unfamiliar to her she managed to find a common ground and empathetic towards them.

I am surprised people call Simi good. Simi was judgemental, regressive and intrusive. She was pretentious and fake. Her accent was artificial. She was especially judgemental towards guests who were unmarried or separated or single. Why harass Ratan Tata or Rekha on why they are not married or not married to a guy or girl or make them feel like something pitiable for not having spouse or kids when this Simi herself is not married nor has kids?

I did not like Simi prodding Zeenat and making her talk about her abusive marriage to Mazhar despite Zeenat clearly being uncomfortable and not wanting to discuss it.

Simi is liked now ONLY for nostalgia and because Karan and other hosts are too vulgar and bitchy. Simi was elitist AF. She would not even invite all stars. She was into inviting likes of Tata, Ambani, Bachchan, SRK, Kapoors but never likes of say, Akshay or Ajay. In episode with Govinda too it was he who spoke Hindi. Simi looked like she was struggling to speak Hindi. Classist BS with fake airs, pseudo sophistication.
