Amitabh and jaya were dating n wanted to go to foreign for trip for vacation. Harivansh Rai bachan ordered Amitabh to first marry jaya n than take her to trip. She was simple n did simple girl type movie so she had good image in his father's eyes.

So they got married.

Maybe she was pregnant 😆
