Classic KJo move veered towards self deprecative approach in a speech..But I did like it for a change..Alia is smart and intelligent where it is required for her to be, as an actor,..otherwise she wouldnt be where she is..

But I’ve never seen you ‘be yourself’? Isn’t your entire image curated to look like an example of perfection. How do you embrace your flaws when you act like you’re above everyone else? You don’t shy away from eating a French fry? But we have seen how scared you are at the sight or even the mere mention of carbohydrates. This speech is well-written and all but it doesn’t suit you. Because even when you’ve been self deprecating in the past, it was just a PR exercise.

This was great. Someone else wrote it. She practiced it a 100 times before she gave the speech. She wouldn’t be able to say any of this, on the spot. But it was done well. So good job!
