The academy loves artsy movies provided they have buzz. You don't just come out of nowhere. People should expect you are going to win the Oscar before your film is even screened at the first festival. Look at the Whale for instance. The film just screened last week, but everyone has been convinced Brendan Fraser will win the Oscar for over 6 months now. 😆

Academy me jury hoti hai wo sab movies nahi dekhti, agar rrr official entry hoti to iska to already bahut buzz hai US mein, itna clout kisi Indian film ko nahi mila hai jitna RRR ko

Aur ye Gujarati film wale Kahan kharcha karenge apni picture ki screening karwane mein, jury dekhegi tab to nominate karegi
