This was dumb. The one time where there's a massive international appreciation about an Indian film (RRR), and this committee goes "nope"😆

Chhello Show may indeed be an excellent film. But we all know that lobbying and hype plays a greater role in determining winners at these kind of events

RRR for Oscars 😆 ? good they dint send it .

only movie which could've won Oscars is Tumbbad ,They missed their chance

seems politics, i saw the jury list of ffi who selected it, i could barely recognise any name, these ppl sit on judgement

they did this earlier with disciple, lunchbox and tummbad too

now rrr maybe masala, cringe whatever but it is indian in content, has the kind of appreciation and caught the attention whic rarely any movie got

as for oscars being important, it is not about validation but market, why are koreans marketing to the world

it is an award which can open markets for you, bigger budgets, newer audience and benefit all

unforunately we do not have the vision to capatalize on our films as soft power and our filmmakers suffers
