Kareena herself said she got it easy due to karishma, and karishma herself said she prefer not to work.. I think not everyone at certain age still wants to struggle and do hard work.. Just sit back and relax.. Also kareena seems enjoy multitasking, some prefer just doing one thing at one time..

Karan never really started making multiple movies at once till 2009. I feel people forget that.

Why you relate Karishma to Aamir in AAA when she was paired opposite Salman and not Aamir? Raja Hindustani is the only film where she and Aamir were paired together.

Karishma never got movies like say, Juhi who got Aaina, Darr and even a cameo in Chandni from Yash Chopra. And work with likes of Rahul Rawail, Aziz Mirza, Inder Kumar etc. Even Raja Hindustani was offered first to Juhi and Ash. Karishma was not first choice for it. Karishma got lot of leftovers until Raja Hindustani changed her fortunes.

Raveena too got lot of better offers from say Rajiv Rai, Yash Chopra.

IDK why you judge Karishma so harshly for having no voice modulation or make up or fashion sense when she was just 16 when she made debut and had no background in modeling or acting nor education beyond a limit.

Karan still chose Rani and even Twinkle for KKHH or went for Kajol in KKHH, K3G. He never bothered about other heroines like say Karishma. Or maybe he wanted smaller or newer stars for those roles and give meatier part to Kajol and Karishma was top rated star post Raja Hindustani, Jeet, DTPH and would not take a small role?

DTPH and KKHH are like the same movie. With some twists 😆

It was said Lolo was offered KKHH but Ranis role. She was a favorite of David Dhawan if that means anything. She was in 2 movies each of Sunil Darshan/Darmesh Darshan

Darshan bros were not in same A list league as YRF or Dharma.

I agree on DTPH and KKHH being similar.

Karishma debuted at a time when nepokids and outsiders were both struggling. Plus the Kapoor family didn’t support her working in movies and she had to work in lot of B grade movies. On the other hand, Kareena got her debut with Amitabh’s son.

Because when Karishma debuted she had to actually work for her success unlike Kareena who got nepotism benefits. Even though Karishma was from a film family she didn’t get the benefits of it and instead the family was against it. She had do everything on her own. Once she got success she pushed herself aside listening to her mom and get busy with marriage and paving the way for Kareena. She doesn’t love herself so no one else takes her much seriously either. It’s sad but true. I noticed those who actually love themselves and care about themselves mostly they what they want such as Kareena, Alia, DP, and Kat after breaking up with RK and realizing her worth to find Vicky. Karishma never did that and always just did what her mom told and what she could for Kareena.

Except for dancing ability which Kareena has none and Karishma has oodles, Kareena is superior in every way.

Kareena is talented and versatile. I know she gets identified as Poo a lot but there’s a lot more to her talent than KJo’s Poo 😕.

I know this is very subjective but Kareena is beautiful specially when she doesn’t do that ridiculous pout thing in pictures. During her thick eyebrows days Karishma looked like Raj Kapoor in drag. Even now the Kapoor genes are too strong in her.

Kareena also experimented a lot more. Maybe being in the 2000s vs the 90s helped Kareena whereas it hurt Karishma. Karishma’s emotional acting is very over exaggerated and very filmy. Kareena is a lot more nuanced and subtle. Now before anyone comes for me, I’m not calling Kareena the best, I’m comparing her to Karishma 😆

Karishma worked a lot harder and was definitely more ambitious at her prime whereas Kareena is just lazy. But Kareena is a good actress whereas Karishma never was.
