White man's validation is so important for some, isn't it?

No one is claiming that Brahmastra has Marvel level vfx. As long as it's better than what BW has already done I would consider it a win.

You don't directly go from 0 to 100. It's a journey. So time lagega. And hopefully Brahmastra will be a step forward in the right direction.

Americans hate British empire even more than we do. The strong anti colonial sentiments were the reason behind the movie finding audience in both North America and Latin American countries.

If people bank only on Vfx and some ancient myths that Indians love to propagate in order to tell the world how advanced they are it most likely will not work.

West world created Brahmastra and already used it for real. So why will they be impressed about mythical Brahmastra?

the animals jumping out was super imaginative but it worked only because you sae ntr as a tribal connected to nature and animals

also the foreigners are seeing dance, action, drama eveything in one movie which we are used to but is novel for them, also the bromance in an old fashioned manner

even the dance is musical level choreography and pushes the narrative of brotherhood and fight against the british, it is not just thoughtless let us insert a song now

each song actually pushes the theme forward

Even I dont like them but somehow I am considering this movie to be my own lol...There's a lot of hardwork to give it a miss or thrash it ...plus..I love indian mythology and I had always wondered why no one makes films on mythology...in fact on this forum only , I had made a topic on the same....

I think it’s a human habit to see how ones work is perceived. But cuz of the historical context, we Indians looking for an opinion from the Americans is gonna be perceived as looking for validation. And tbh, the main why these reaction channels thrive is white validation. Also, I don’t think you looking for an opinion from the Hollywood/white audience is fair cuz there way ahead of us in terms of VFX Technology and movie making in general. So there standards are automatically higher. So what’s gold for us, is gonna be metal for them.
