There are some men on the forum who make totally crass, misogynistic remarks in a very nonchalant and casual way, fully knowing that their "comments" can easily get them in trouble in professional world in real. They make me cringe. Now I'm not taking names but if the shoe fits, feel free to wear it, my dear gentlemen ... who aren't really gentlemen, after all.

Does one get to know if they have been blocked by someone?

You don't get a notification if that's what you're asking. 😆 But you can check your blocked list. If you see names you never blocked, chances are they blocked you.

and if you like surprises, you can just wait for the day/time when you try to quote or react to a post but you get a little note saying that you're blocked instead.

Ya, Its under friends tab. Blocked list. Ones you have blocked has a setting gear icon. The ppl who have blocked you wont have it. Be sure to block the person first, cos you can't block the person who has blocked you.

Also you can't quote them or react to their post.

you being here for 9 years means nothing cuz the block feature is new to both newbies and old timers alike. It was a one way street until a few months back (if you blocked someone, you could still quote and react to them, but they would be stonewalled) but now it goes both ways no matter who blocks who first. 😆
