There have been many movies made sympathizing with terr0r!sts, criminals and separatists but just one movie made sympathizing with actual victims (Kashmiri Pandits) has rattled the whole ecosystem. The same ecosystem that cries FOE on every small issue wants to dominate every medium of expression so that only their side of story is made, shown and accepted as truth. They have left no scope for an alternative reality.

Anyways there are some who you can wake up and some who are just pretending to sleep. For those who are actually awake this thread can be an eye opener and an answer to lots of questions people are raising about the movie TKF and its makers' intentions 👇 (caveat - it's a very long thread but every post is very important).

People who are questioning everything and everyone related to Kashmir Files, can they just for once forget everything else and try to sympathize with the actual victims. The victims whose side of story was never told before The Kashmir Files.

Here's a bone chilling account of those real-life nightmares by Sunanda Vashisht which she had experienced herself. If this doesn't move u nothing will. 👇

I am so in awe of catchmeifucan, days back they couldn't even separate propaganda from reality with regard to KPs' genocide and now they seem to have read and informed themselves so much on the issue that they know which twitter threads to share here.So inspirational.

People here are so confused that I feel sad sometimes looking at the condition overall. Which post of cathmeifyoucan show lack of sympathy for Kashmir Pandits or deny the horrible things they were subjected to ? I have seen posts in this very thread dissing Congress for their roles, so posting something anti-BJP becomes ‘showing lack of sympathy to KPs’? If people want to talk about the movie and KPs only, it has to be from both sides.

Such misguidance all around, especially when I hear the word ‘Hater’. Hater of what ? Country ? KP ? The tragedy ? Let’s not confuse hater of a specific party (which is a right in democracy) to a hater of a country or a community against which there is literally no proof of hating. All can see who are carrying venom these days. It’s sickening sometimes. 🤔

Won't target any member here but they are trying hard to get this thread closed..

Preying on every single thread related to the movie, they have nothing good to say about it, no empathy for KPs.

Entire issue was based on religion and had started much earlier in late 1980s. So kahaan ka secularism bhai? Neighbours turning hostile, muslim kids acting as informers. Itna nafrat unhone paal kar rakhi thi. They wanted to live in better homes without working hard, because they were busy making babies. It is obvious where their focus lied. Pandits earned a living, built homes with their hard earned money while muslims basically looted them.

Hum 4 humare 40 kind of thinking is only going to make them poorer..it was not KPs fault that they didn't have so many children or that thet were inherently hard working.

In this thread, I've mentioned Congress, and my post focused on Congress' role during the genocide and exodus. It becomes quite relevant to the movie discussion as a result.

But what some members are doing in by bringing in propaganda tweets is clearly intentional in order to build a negative sentiment against the film.So what if PM spoke in Parliament about the film, which everyone agrees is brutally honest about a horrible event in our country's history? And he just stated that such films depicting actual events are needed.

Nathupyaare correctly stated that movies made in sympathy of terrorists/ separatists are actively promoted and is not an issue, but once a movie is made that tells the truth as it is, it is rattling the ecosystem and its followers.
