I mentioned India too..mentioned govt coz it's said tons of times that gov curbs freedom of speech in India and people r scared of speaking up

My intention is not to fight or argue. Have observed over the years that there r lot of people on IF who have their heart in the right place and have genuine empathy and inclination for peace.. they r willing to listen and open to dialogue. Many form their notions and perceptions based on narratives..If any of my post just forces them to think, rethink about what they perceive as the only truth..I would be really happy.

There r few in BW who aren't scared to condemn Hindus or India or govt at the drop of a hat..na ratti bhar dar na sharm..irrespective of whether they r telling the truth or lying.

But they r unable to speak up for a cause or a person who they perceive is close to being a nationalist..that says a lot about where exactly the freedom of speech lies.

Kyahikahoon was pointing out the duplicity of the usual loudmouths who are otherwise very vocal on certain issues but go into hiding when the subject doesn't accord with their political leanings or propaganda. The silence on TKF is telling. They're either scared or hypocrites...or both.

I know one shouldn't have to apologise but that what if I wasn't from the community would I have believed or thought for a minority?! Sometimes i feel bad that you cannot call spade a spade because a certain narrative is pushed on you since childhood. Maybe people who just divide people into bhakts and libtards should understand that would is not black and white but maybe it is just easier to put people in brackets.
