I took my mother along with me, and the theatre was housefull. And wow just wow. See i have heard stories from my family growing up, i know of my grandfather's stories of kasheer they grew up in, but nothing could prepare for this. Nothing. I am too involved in it to find flaws, it wasn't a movie but a chapter of our history.

I cried my eyes out at the scenes that unfolded in front of me, and i remember craving for representation when i saw movies like haider, where kashmiri pandits were no where to be seen. People will tell you it is lies but it is true. And i am not saying that kashmeer didn't have caste divide it did but it also true that kp's were called "dali batta" as a slur. Things were not all rosy but masssacre was not an option. And i am not going to pretend that muslims were not killed, muslims who favoured india who helped kp's were killed. Indian government did nothing because a minority isn't a vote bank. I am not a nationalist nor will i ever be, heck i am not even a bjp supporter, but how can i deny that people were killed because they weren't of a certain religion! And talking about is a crime? Or a conspiracy.

For people who thought they could build a kashmeer over our dead bodies, i just say all the masssacre in Kashmir started with them picking guns and they are reaping results for their choices. Truth may be silenced but karma will not.

I am watching it today. But how to tell if it was a propaganda film and not the true representation? How are the reviewers deciding upon it? Were they there at that time or Kashmiri Pandits themselves? Honest question!

Hundreds of first generation victims were interviewed and their video testimonies recorded. The film is based upon those testimonies.

Why are people spamming this thread with that stupid holi game? This is a serious film's thread is not some random thread.

Also the review written in one of the portals that why krishna grows up brainwashed is not shown, actually depicts reality. There are many kashmiri hindu wokiya kids till date who invalidate the genocide suffered even by their own ancestors.

Such was the brainwashing done by congressis, leftist liberals and shitty media.

One prime example is nidhi razdan who is dating omar abdullah

one doesn't need to clarify or apologise for being a nationalist or supporting any party.

We understand what your community went through though we may not understand the depth of your sufferings. I hope the story is heard by many and people understand the magnitude of violence unleashed on kashmiri hindus.

Congratulations to the makers of this movie, it deserves all the praise it’s getting. 👏

Despite movie getting leaked and bollywood mafia not supporting it or talking about it yet this movie is working 👏
