Okay.... nevermind. Adipurush is not releasing on 11th August. So LSC would get a solo release.

But clashing with KGF 2 was always a stupid idea. Mamu really underestimated it and had to postpone his film last minute when he didn't get enough screens down South.

Why not just release it on his favorite holiday Christmas? Is he afraid someone would clash with him and destroy his movie?

Mamu just ran away from one big South film to another big South film. Seems like he's just looking for publicity for his film. Who thought that just one big failure at box office would make him so insecure?

It's actually one film in two years. LSC got postponed because of Covid. Still never saw him pulling such cheap stunts for his films.

Pushpa didn't kill all business though. It opened small then had room to run because except for 83 no other films in Hindi opened for more than a month after it. Even 83 wound up doing 100cr +. If other films had opened and taken screens neither would have come close to reaching that mark.

KGF2 is another matter - and it's probably more about not getting enough screens on that date in the South for what is a very expensive production.

PK was scheduled for June 6 2014 but after it was complete he shifted it 6 months to December 19 2014 with some reshoot excuse

Good decision. Clashing with kgf is a really really bad idea. The hype of the movie is sooo strong in kerala itself. Cant imagine the rest of the states.
