Objectively, this clip is problematic. If this interaction happened between two people on the bus or in a mall somewhere, people would be worried that there is an assault taking place. I personally, don't understand why fans defend this. If this was staged for a promotion BOTH SRK and Lady Gaga are at fault for agreeing to enact problematic behavior for a promotion.

This interaction is creepy or a really bad public stunt.

But yeah, I disagree with people who paint SRK as a creep based on one interaction. But just because someone calls him creepy doesn't make him creepy. And people have a right to their perceptions. Being a celebrity means having fans and haters. I don't get why people get so upset by it.

Ridonkulous, just cos Lady Gaga wore a meat costume that makes her fair play to his advances...perpetuating rape culture; the 'she was dressed a certain way so was asking for it'.

She used to throw herself in the audience and let them touch her as part of her act, no way does that have to extend in any other periphery of her life.

As someone said, he's used to actresses fawning over him that his OTT gestures are welcomed by them. With someone who doesn't have that adulation for him, it's totally unwanted.

I recall him kissing a belly dancer's waist on a reality TV show to express his appreciation for her talent. Got no boundaries for people's personal space, this man.

Fans aren't actively defending the act. Under normal circumstances, talk shows are pre-planned, and the jokes/routines are sketched out ahead of time. So one can't help but assume that they were both in on the act. I don't know about other fans but I was just pushing back on the posts that are desperately trying to write him off as a lifelong creep just because he had this faux pas with Lady Gaga. That's not fair either.

I agree...they both are huge celebrities and should have said NO....this wasn't something healthy that should have been encouraged especially in a country like India where people have a problem understanding the meaning of NO or the importance of consent.....My problem is with people saying that SRK is forcing himself on Lady Gaga....I mean how?? why?? LG is like a 10 times bigger celebrity than SRK...she is a powerful woman....why would she tolerate SRK and say nothing about it...she is not some starlet who needed a favor from SRK the superstar? You say she would be friends with SRK after this UNPLESANT experience...again this was invading her privacy without her consent...and LG wouldn't have tolerated it....if this was real..it would have been huge..not just an unpleasant experience.

I mean the way it was staged....unless it was with LG's consent there is no way in hell that SRK would invade her privacy...

I am not defending the cringyness(if its even a word..lol) of this act....I am defending the notion that SRK piled himself on a guest without her consent to creep her out...yes a bad judgement was made by both SRK and LG staging this out whatever way they did...but people suggesting that it wasn't staged is ridiculous...
