If your nieces live in the main city or suburbs then their accent will be fine. If they live in the outback then God help them. 😆

Oh I stopped watching eons ago, only watched it for the hot men.

It's funny how Heath Ledger and Chris Hemsworth blew up so big from that miniscule show..

But I learnt some interesting vocab for sure, "Sheila", "bogan", "strike me roan". I hope that's not offensive to Aussies.

They’re half -Brit half Indian so I keep encouraging them to talk to their father & his family more for that lovely English accent. 😆 And yes they live in Melbourne.

Yeah I know. I feel like every hot Aussie actor has appeared in at least one episode of either shows. I stopped watching it when I was in school. Lmfao, not offensive at all. Bogan is still used to describe red-necked Aussies or junkies. I don’t hear “Sheila or strike me roan”. I’m sure those words are used more in the outback. I’ll teach you another phrase, which is ‘Maccas run’. Basically means going for late night feed to have McDonalds. 😆

I started watching that show because I was fascinated with the accent.😆 Ended up liking it.
