83 is about cricket which is a religion in India. That world cup is historic for this country. Nothing is going to matter.

If this movie does poorly, Kabir Khan and Ranveer will take a long time to recover. The only religion in India which trumps everything else is cricket.

It might not do that well at single screens but will be massive at plexes. 200 cr min.

83 would do good business but expecting it to break Sooryavanshi record is kinda unrealistic.

It would face competition from No Way Home, Jersey and RRR. Sooryavanshi had no competition from any big film.

The only Bollywood films based on Cricket which have done huge business at box office are Lagaan and MSD biopic. Cricket might be a big deal in India but it's not necessary that the fans of the sport would also be fans of movies or Bollywood.

Although this movie is not just about Cricket but a historic event so that's it's USP.
