Alka or Shreya?

Whose voice do you prefer?

Shreya.

I love Alka but sometimes she can be too shrill and parakeetish .

Alka without any doubt.

Both of them are absolutely queens. I love numerous songs by both. If I really really really had to pick one, I'd go for Alka Yagnik.

But if/when I'm in a Shreya Ghoshal mood, nothing else will do either.

Alka yagnik would be my choice.

Alka Yagnik. She is unique. Shreya is just a copy of younger Lata Mangeshkar. Nothing unique in her if you have heard a lot of young Lata's songs.

Mixed bag both of them.But I have been listening to Alka's Ashoka songs and I quite like them. Shreya is the better vocalist.But they both can be too shrill at times.

Alka. Majority of Bollywood songs that I love have been sung by her. Her voice is also more relatable when I‘m pretending to sing the song while impressing my imaginary audience.

Shreya has a great voice too but suits only certain genre of songs. I also have a hard time pretending that her voice is mine when I’m lip-singing her songs because it doesn’t suit me. 🥺

I love Alka. She used to be my favorite in the 90s. I love Shreya as well.
