At that time she was probably 27 or around that number.

Wow. He screwed up big time. Probably didn't mean to actually say it but gave himself away by accident? With a nose like THAT he has a lot of nerve to call her ugly🤣. . And Kareena isn't that pretty. Not by conventional standards. She's hot and attractive but not 'beautiful'. And why marry a woman old enough to be your mum when you secretly thought she was ugly?

A very irresponsible thing to say when you think of the kids.

It’s bs to be honest. BW has romanticized impulsiveness to next level. To the point where if someone is not impulsive, they think they aren’t living the life and there’s no fun in it. 🤷‍♀️

When I see a man 10 years older to me, I always get a kaka wali feeling. I don’t know how people fall for such age gap. Beyond me.

People have arranged marriages with 7-10 years gap (Its he girl who is younger). It's pretty common actually. But they have that sort of mindset where they are willing to adjust, they are raised that way.

BW romanticises a lot - because our reality and life is much harsher, especially in India when it comes to marriage. Very few really get their fairly tale romance or even a good married life. Most of our movies have less logic and more emotions (especially the 90s- early 2000s) because movies and music are our escapism from the daily grind.

Barring celebs - most people in real life are practical in marriage - they have a lot to consider, from money to responsibilities.. so it comes down to what is the best option for them. People may marry someone older just to get a more comfortable life which they might not get in their similar age group. Age is just another criteria for them.. as for many, the options are limited due to whatever reason.

I find Kareena really beautiful. I have seen her in real life more than once, sort of bumped into her once 😊

I somehow feel that he meant something and was only thinking of Kareena and his current life.. totally forgot about Amrita.. It makes no sense for him to comment about the mother of his grown up kids.😆

I agree it is better to marry someone hot if that is what you like instead of getting married and then lust and thirst over hot people who are not your partner. My cousin used to cry over Hrithik all the time and then married (arranged) this really not so pleasant looking guy. She did grow to love him because he was her husband I guess, but one day we were talking about Hrithik and she told me sometimes looking at her husband makes her want to cry. That really, really stayed with me.

Yeh what baat hai.. you will never get 100% of what you want in a person.. thats the reality of life. It's better to forgo looks of someone if you can think you can love him, there will be always something about the person that you won't like.

Oh cool ! Did she do the Poo Eye Roll and hair flip @ bold ? :P I love her in plain white clothes. And she looked pretty nice in Refugee.

Yeah I think he started out defending his relationship with Kareena, wanted to praise her and then it got out of hand but he did slip up . The last comment gave it away xD.

That reminds me of my friend's wedding. It was at a Church. We gathered , the priest began the and after the prayers , stuff about the importance of matrimony etc half way into the speech he said " We all have dreams. We dream of success , of wealth ,of future partners. R ( my friend ) over here and S ( his bride) had similar ones. R must have wanted a wife who looked like Aishwarya Rai. S must have wanted a husband like Prithviraj . But they get each other . The Lord's decision is final and we have to embrace it " .LOL . I don't know if he realised what that sounded like . Like Saif I think he began with good intentions and screwed it up towards the end.

Aw that's sad btw. That your cousin is so disappointed. She would be revolted to know tht I find Roshan unattractive. If she's unhappy because she keeps comparing her husband to him then that's ridiculous. But if the husband has a major ermm 'appearance deficit' then I guess it's complicated.

The families of both of them were not happy. I think his mum took it up with the priest later;they didn't get along anyway. A couple of teenagers giggled. But otherwise people pretended they didn't hear it lol. It was funny because the bride who is otherwise pretty had awful ,loud make up on with a weird lipstick and freaky curls. And HUGE chandelier earrings tht were not meant to be worn with a wedding down. It looked as if they were setting her up for that comment. I had to try hard to keep a straight face because there was a videographer right in front of me and I think I was all over the screens meant for the people at the back. I'm sure some gossipy auntie noticed I smiled and covered my mouth pretending to wipe sweat off and promptly reported it to my friends parents xD. Friend and I laughed about it later though.

I applies to everyone irrespective of gender and I'm not just talking about looks.
