That's why the whole thing gives the vibe of KJo cannot admit to the reason without being pilloried.

He is putting out this idea Karthik didn't want to do the film and got himself deliberately kicked out without actually saying so in so many words. No chance of KJo being accused of lying, because hey, he never actually said it.

KJo could've escaped it all by making it clear date issues or creative problems. No one would've been able to tell him to wait indefinitely for an actor who refused to show up or refused to do the script as is. The fact Dharma isn't coming clean when they could so easily come out as the better people by outing said unprofessional behavior is what makes this fishy.

He spent most of 2020 getting pilloried because of SSR and what happened to Drive and the rumors of unprofessionalism and skirt-chasing. Same pattern here.

Instead of letting rumors fly around, a smart person would've bluntly said what happened. He isn't saying anything and hiding behind gossip, still.

People will draw their conclusions. And this time around, the conclusions are very likely to be evenly split between the 2 warring parties.

If he feels so strongly he probably should come out and explain why he dropped Kartik but that's pretty rare in an industry that hides behind dates and creative differences to protect egos and careers.

It makes me wonder who did the huge dump of gossip yesterday. The phrasing of some of it makes KJo look worse than Kartik. You'd think if it was started by him it would been worded better. Ditto Kartik's PR. Maybe it was Janhvi since she's the one who got the most smoke blown up her ...

Or maybe kartik saw how these nepo kids take credit for a hit movie. I watched patni movie for kartik but ananya, the team and her fans was making it seem like movie was a hit because of her. Kartik was having back to back hits at that time. So many nepo kids star opposite a hit actor or actress and take credit for the hit movie
