Agreed . To add Alaya is same as the girls you mentioned , it’s just that she revamped her insta and personality after just changing her name to alaya from aalia . I used to follow her during her NYU days , she was just as wannabe if not more than the likes of ananya etc 😂

Yes, yes, and yes. And the first and foremost reason is because they are from the same social circle, their mom and dad know each other, they have hung out with each other since kindergarten and went to the same school till the end of high school, and and are now trying to break in to Bollywood one by one. They don't say attack of the clones for nothing!

Except Sara and Alaya F ... they all sound dumb as F and with that atrocious supposedly "cool" way of talking, it's jarring beyond my level of tolerance. Ananya, Shanaya, and Lord knows how many other ---aya's are interchangeable.

None of them are even remotely decent when it comes to acting.. The only outsider who is considered to be a competition to industry princesses is Tara and even she is super bland. Not even one of them is interesting to watch. I mean look at Alia.. Now I know kjo had a huge hand in getting her top films and she might not be as good as these industry people try to project but she has an impeccable screen presence and she only has improved from her first film. Compare her to any of these Gen Z Qweens and u will know they stand no where.. Industry has a lot of talent to offer and this new generation of star kids will fizzle out soon.. Hopefully!

I don't think so tbh. The Gen Z actresses (that includes both the nepos and the outsiders) are easily distinguishable from one another in both looks and acting styles imo...

Sara, Jahnvi, Ananya, Alaya, Tara, Tripti, Mrunal, Sanya, Radhika, etc. all look and act so differently...

It was actually most of the previous younger Millenial generation (late 2000s-early 2010s debuts) who were pretty similar when it came looks tbh... 90% of them were super fair with sharp features, dark brown eyes and straight-up-and-down body types... Anushka, Shraddha, Alia, Kriti, Yami, Kiara, even Parineeti post weight loss... all of them fit this exact mould!

That was the only generation in BW where most mainstream actresses looked similar tbh

Really? Even their filmography is so different from each other and so is their offscreen persona.. Kuch bhi kaho even nepo girls like Aloo and Shraddha seemed more organic compared to crazy PR promoted Sara Jhanvi Annaya.. I mean atleast they all had more to offer than just playing Kartik Aryan like a ping pong😂..

Since 2000 we are getting xerox copies as actress or actors all look same, speak similar and act also same

Before that all had different personalities

I mean can you find jackie shroff was xerox of someone before or with him - no nana patekar - no salman - not really but dharmendra comes close to imitation in character srk dupliacted someone no amir duplicated someone nooo. Same with sunny deol, sanjay dutt, akshay or suniel shetty all top heroes of 80-90s till 2000s forget these look at bobby deol, akshaye khanna, hrithik did they copy someone not really. Although i think in initial movies hrithik copied bobby deol dancing and dressing and swag etc which he too admitted in interviews. So all were unique style and personality

Same with heroines sridevi, jaypradha, madhuri, juhi, manisha, raveena, pooja bhatt, shilpa and karishma, twinkle, rani, priety, amisha, ash, kareena all top heroines 90s were different from each other

But today all heroes look and act same speak same same personality all heroines also same after mid 2000s

everyone is inter changable

Except a bhumi pednekar, vidya balan, deepika, sonam or so rest all same inter changeable

Well they are all the same because of the background they come from. Theres nothing that sets them apart. Same people, same social circle, same locality of Mumbai.

Only Sara seems to be different because she did not really have an elitist upbringing, Amrita worked very hard for both her kids.

But I can take you to places in Bandra and you wouldn't know the difference between our B-Town girls and SoBo girls.

Previously all our heroines brought their own experiences to the industry and that made them all distinct. Not anymore.

all of this

Exactly, why are we forgetting that's the era that gave us Esha Deol and Sonam Kapoor too 😆

I wouldn't say their personalities, acting or movies are the same (because those are very different) but in terms of looks yes I do think they are similar...

Compare them to previous eras where there was so much diversity in colouring, features, body shapes, etc... India is a super diverse country and how the stars looked reflected that.

I'll agree that Shraddha did have an organic stardom to some extent but there was absolutely nothing organic about Alia... from what I've seen Sara and Ananya have more genuine fans than she does even now!

Except Siddhant and Tara, all the new people are generic and under average.
