BTW, I thought I am the only who kinda indulges in this movie. This used to be my some what of a guilty pleasure. Still remember how I used to pop in the video in the VCR and the entire family used to literally evaporate into the thin air from our living room then with my brother and sister whining and kicking and screaming.😆

I never digested the fact that Raj likes Tina because he thinks the she was wrote mails to him and when he gets to know that his email partner was Pooja, he starts loving her 😳

He completely ignores her during the first meet and is all smitten by Tina 🤔

But he always loved Pooja. He loved the person who wrote the e-mails for FIFTEEN YEARS. He thought it was Tina because that's what Pooja and then Tina let him believe. But he was soon questioning Tina to Pooja because her actions and the e-mails didn't fit and instead of fessing up she kept pushing him toward Tina until he finally found out later in London (where he was having more fun with Pooja than he ever did with Tina) All in all he was 'with' adult Tina in person for less than 2 weeks before her father dropped dead and Pooja lost her mind and pushed Raj at Tina - again - like a consolation prize and not a human being. 🤪

Seeing these videos - Raj was drinking a lot. If he'd married Tina he probably would have become an alcoholic. 😆

honestly i was not invested in raj or pooja they were too toxic together and individually who gave then right to take life changing decisions for others it was pooja who wrote those letters from tina s name tina didnt even knew it was pooja who asked her to pretend then did not even had the decency to tell tina about her newfound love with raj

But Tina was also playing with Raj's life when she went along with Pooja's lies and didn't tell him about the letters until the day before they were to marry. Even then when he "joked" that he should be marrying Pooja then it never occurred to Tina that yes he should. I think she also suspected Pooja had feelings for Raj (as if 15 years of writing wasn't a big honking clue) which is why she was literally shoving her at Rohan.

Pooja was being a self and Raj sacrificing idiot and Raj was an idiot for agreeing to her idiocy while adding more of his own saying must marry first. But Tina was far from innocent. Even Rohan wasn't innocent. Pooja made it obvious she wasn't interested but he kept pursuing even when he realized she was in love with Raj. He was going to marry someone he knew for a couple of weeks who was in love with his best friend. Moron.

During the Medley (which is fantastic) when Raj and Pooja are in the rain (sizzling hot) - and all their mouths are agape watching and yet still everyone thinks it's sane to go with the weddings.

Why? Why? Why? Why?

No one did anything proactive or intelligent. It was all solved by a physical accident and finding bracelets.

This entire movie was ridiculous. 😆

But the movie has the best Medley songs of all time. I still have it all by hearted. This and the Maine Pyar Kiya one.😆
