Raj kept on pressurising Pooja to not like Rohan and kept on saying that she cant love anyone other than him. The movies ending was problematic and felt bad for Rohan and Tina

She liked Raj...she loved him since childhood. Raj, was just trying to change Pooja's mind to not torture everyone. It was clear that she loved him. She just wanted to ruin everyone's life for sacrifice, which wasn't even the valid point because if she wouldn't have been happy, Rohan too wouldn't have been happy.

And at first, Pooja was the one who pressurised Raj to marry Tina despite his wish. So, who is the submissive one?

I got your point that we can fall out of love, there can be more than one love in life. But, in this movie, when there was mutual affection in previous relationship and the breakup wasn't a valid reason, it would obviously be difficult to move on.

More than Raj, I didn't like Pooja. Okay, he chose Tina after coming back as an adult. But, he didn't have any idea that Pooja used to talk with him in disguise of Tina. That one was also deceiving. And then, she was sulking because he chose Tina? It was amazing that he remembered Tina's face from childhood. While talking with someone you already know in real life, in chat, we imagine their face. Pooja knew he was Raj, but Raj, he thought that was Tina. So imagined Tina. They show the children look totally different after growing up in movies. But, it doesn't happen like that. My face from 8 years old is same today also. I grew up, but people can recognise. I don't think he chose Tina because he thought she was beautiful, but because he thought she was Tina.

Huh? Pooja didn't love Rohan and didn't want to marry him. The only reason she agreed is because Raj said he wouldn't marry Tina, the person he didn't love, until she did the same stupid thing she was strong arming and guilt tripping him into - a loveless marriage.

Tina lied from the start to Raj along with Pooja - she knew she didn't write for 15 years to him and that his love for her was based on those e-mils and that communication. She confesses well after the engagement, maybe the day before marriage and even then she doesn't appreciate the weight and unfairness of her duplicity. When Raj replies then I should be marrying Pooja she can't grasp that he's telling the truth because in her mind she's the prize, she thinks it's a joke.

That Pooja went so far as to give Tina what she wanted but never earned or deserved - and Raj was going to let her until convoluted last minute outside forces let them off the hook was ridiculous. But in these type movies it almost always has to be the unwanted person who has to break things off so the couple doesn't look bad - even when the unwanted person in this case is a vain self involved oblivious idiot who'd been lying.

Bingo. He already knew what they looked from years as children. Of course he'd physically recognize Tina as Tina and Pooja as Pooja. Pooja's hurt that he didn't recognize her was silly though probably based on years of feeling second best even though she was the one propping Tina up by doing her homework etc. Even when Raj tells Pooja that Tina's personality/actions don't match the e-mails, which shows he's more interested in that than Tina's looks, she still pushes him toward Tina. She's so used to being Tina's stooge she's willing to give up Raj to Tina twice.

that's the biggest bollywood movie trope, you don't recognize people as adults
