The sequal naming because of the first movie with that title having been a success-story doesn't make sense to me if it isn't a genuine sequal with the same persons and a follow-up story (like it had been with Farhan's Don & Don 2 or with Drishyam & Drishyam 2, e.g.) ... or belongs to a frachise like Housefull.

So whenever there will be a sequel, the makers will automatically think about Kartik to keep him as the lead..!! Now Kartik has become the torchbearer of unnecessary sequels of legendary movies, and he wasn't even part of the original movies. It's high time he should stop staying in the limelight this way..
