Huh? Pooja didn't love Rohan and didn't want to marry him. The only reason she agreed is because Raj said he wouldn't marry Tina, the person he didn't love, until she did the same stupid thing she was strong arming and guilt tripping him into - a loveless marriage.

Tina lied from the start to Raj along with Pooja - she knew she didn't write for 15 years to him and that his love for her was based on those e-mils and that communication. She confesses well after the engagement, maybe the day before marriage and even then she doesn't appreciate the weight and unfairness of her duplicity. When Raj replies then I should be marrying Pooja she can't grasp that he's telling the truth because in her mind she's the prize, she thinks it's a joke.

That Pooja went so far as to give Tina what she wanted but never earned or deserved - and Raj was going to let her until convoluted last minute outside forces let them off the hook was ridiculous. But in these type movies it almost always has to be the unwanted person who has to break things off so the couple doesn't look bad - even when the unwanted person in this case is a vain self involved oblivious idiot who'd been lying.

He could have told his parents himself that he did not want to marry Tina and loved Pooja instead since it was Rahul's dad who made the decision and could have told him to retract but instead he goes on to play with Tinas feelings when he could have told her that he doesn't love him and coming to Rohan, Tina and Rahul were getting married in a few weeks, She should prepared herself to move on from Rahul and probably chose Rohan who was nice person and did not mind her undeserving cold attitude towards him and in a few scenes we see that Pooja was getting interested in Rohan but Rahul would start his rona dhona and qurbaani jhaap which made Pooja feel guilty. Now what if Rahul turned out to be toxic after marriage or if he died in an accident or something? Would she still love him?

Of curse Raj should have disregarded what Pooja asked and told his parents and Tina he wouldn't marry her. The entire conceit of the marriage was idiotic.

But he's not responsible for Tina lying and misrepresenting herself to him and building her future happiness on that lie and he's not responsible for Rohan pursuing Pooja so strongly when he'd first only seen her photo and then second barely knew her as she tried brushing him off time and time again until agreeing to marrying him only because of Raj's dumb ultimatum of her ruining her life if he had to ruin his.

Raj and Pooja communicated for 15 years - they fell in love over that long period of time. Tina and Rohan barely knew each of them for a couple of weeks before they were to be married - there wasn't any true love there. Pooja was not feeling guilty for liking Rohan or moving on - she was feeling guilty for hurting Raj with her stupid self sacrificing plan and afraid she was going to succumb to Raj so she made sure to tie herself to Rohan. All to ensure a plan if it went to fruition would have resulted in four miserable people.

If Raj became another person from the one she knew for a couple of decades or died then then Pooja would probably move on. If she was smart though she'd move on with another person she grew to love well before agreeing to marry that person. That person most likely would still not be Rohan (who could also be a secret drug addict potential wife abuser - who knows - she only knew him for 2 weeks and most of that time she spent trying to avoid him).
