I always knew that they existed. Not everybody lives under a rock, you know. 😉 Just because you suddenly woke up to a whole new world of facts doesn't mean that's the case with everybody out there.

There are activists still campaigning in the Hathras case, and the rapists are still lodged in jail. But to say that I cannot support a legislation against one crime because there hasn't been a similar law in other cases is plain absurd and juvenile.

If you think this legislation is genuine and not politically motivated at all, aapko Mubarak. We're killing the very essence of what we were once proud of.

QUIT calling criminals "religious" anything! Most humans are based, on something whether you practice one organized system or another or even if you worship money and power as your GOD. BUT you all must quit calling anything that tortures, maims or harms other living sentient beings as doing it in the name of a GOD. No real Christian, religion that I know of starves people to covert them. It is a travesty that you call murderers or evil people religious, they are not religious they are just plain sick evil or practicing satanists. AND yes you have to stop those people no matter what they denominate themselves or whatever they preach or what vestments they hide behind. ALL women, children and men must be protected, law should be genderless, the only separation should be between innocent and guilty.

Let me put it for you this way.

Exhibit 1- My hindu cousin sister was asked to convert to Christianity after her engagement. This was not spoken of pre-engagement. They forced her to until she walked away.

Exhibit 2- My family friend, a hindu man, willfully converted into Islam for his Muslim wife.

Exhibit 3- My hindu friend had to go all the way to the police station yesterday with her parents because she was being stalked for almost a year, by another hindu guy.

Stop generalizing crimes based on religion. Media is feeding one image and everyone is readily consuming it. Punish the wrong doers based on their crime, not their religion.

It would be fine if it was left for the woman to decide if she was being forcefully converted or of her own will but as the law is being forced on people and used to disrupt interfaith marriages, it shows that govts are lacking in basic common sense.

She simply knows how to stay in news. One tweet of her is something that the whole nation will start discussing. She put everyone into head spinning.
