Still don't understand why Babul and Paheli flopped when she was running high on success. After these two flopping all the others flopped, no one cared she was in Sawariya. She was successful to hide her relationship with the then married Adi for a long time... SM was not that harsh to her... people don't used to act vindictive those days either... what went wrong? People got bored of her acting?

Aishwarya is the complete package. Beauty, acting, dance, stardom and behaviour.

I remember she herself was puzzled why news of her impending marriage kept making the rounds after Black happened. Then in some interview she said there are insiders who give out these infos to journalists. I think what she is trying to say is that the film offers got less after the news of her marriage came out, so she had to resort working with YRF a lot.

^^I think her problem was that she had the girl next door image and after her affair with AC came out and she starred in kank(most hated film of 2006) people didnt see her anymore as the sweet girl who everyone loves.

Not true. Madhuri and Sridevi had many flops too. I'm talking about craze and their fame. Aishwarya did run film on her shoulder, what was HDDCS, Taal, Jeans, Bride and Prejudice, Chokher Bali? They were all primarily on her shoulders. She had the biggest roles in all these films, bigger than the heroes, yet all these films were successful.

PR? Every actor has PR. But her beauty is once in a lifetime kind. If PR could create stars, then we would have many of these.

I think among these 3 ladies, Aish was the strongest and conducted herself with so much dignity. I feel for her, as she has been called all kinds of names and dragged into mindless controversies because of the men she was seeing. I mean, the woman came out and said Salman was abusing her and instead of sympathising her pain, people called her a liar and said she shouldn't have badmouth SK.

She held her own and still does today. I might not like her as an actress that much but she does have a lot of grace and dignity...plus, she is very beautiful!

Preity was average but had a good run with Dharma and YRF projects

Aish had/has the big X factor acting wise as good as preity not as Rani. I think SRK and Salman really messed up her career. I think she would have came really really far. She would have been THE numero uno. She reached there with devdas and slightly get there again with dhoom but then that’s it. And not getting many projects backed by dharma or YRF like the other two got was a disadvantage. Aish didn’t reach her potential and that’s really sad

Let’s be honest actress get the visibility if they start opposite a superstar/successful actor.

If they nail the part too you have the audience backing you and if you are part in several good projects with the said Superstars you will even rise more and can also do some unconventional movies or take some risk but to get the reach you need that big star opposite you.

Why do you think deepika, katrina, anushka and PC even Kareena still crave back here and there to those big names.

They can do their risky projects but they will still sign certain projects to be on top and to be there you need those big money spinning projects.

I don't think Aish was ever a box office queen nor was she considered brilliant actress. She has given few good performances no doubt but it was always her beauty that has been the usp. Preity has had a successful phase as well but it was short lived. I guess both in terms of acting and box office Rani has been ahead but I wonder if anyone of them could have pullled in crowd on their own.
