Aish was the flop queen, Preity was never consistent with success, Rani had a good run from Sathya/Chalte Chalte to Buntey Bubbly days. You have to have a period when you can make even a shitty film a success because all the other films are also successful... to be called #1.

True. I believe Rani was the one who had the best script sense, best acting chops and best box-office pull among the 3 of them.

Rani had a good run only between 2003 to 2005. Before that she did so many B-grade films, after 2005, her flop streak went on till 2014. She was one of the top actresses but never number one.

Same with Preity. She could never rise to be number 2, let alone number 1. She also had her best run between 2003 to 2005.

Some of Rani and Preity's best films came out in that period because that was the same time Ash was dropped out of big projects thanks to her boycott by the Khans, and Rani and Preity benefitted from that.

However, regardless of everything Aishwarya remained the most famous, most popular, highest paid actress BY MILES. Like, she hit it out of the ballpark. Even during her lean phase when she lost movies and didn't have big hits for a couple of years, it didn't affect her stardom one bit.

Aishwarya was not queen of flops but queen of desasters😆 i dont know why her fans always brings her up if it wasnt fir her PR she would be out of bollywood years ago.

aishwarya more than actress was superstar in a global sense yes. But as an actress and at box office she was never great. But she tried. Rani is the best actress among them and most succesfull at box office.

Topic is about numero uno, and is not a matter of opinion lol.

Forget Aishwarya's global fame, forget her pan-Indian fame thanks to her huge success in regional cinema. Just take Bollywood and she pips Rani, Preity and the rest in a landslide.

Box office wise they are more or less the same (in fact Ash has had more hits if you count her overall hits across Tamil, Bengali and English and not just Hindi)

Whereas acting is subjective and some might find Rani better while some others may prefer Aishwarya. I do think Rani is a better actress too but then again she is not without shortcomings.
