Occasional pot smokers or booze drinkers ask others whether they are gonna have weed/booze at the other person's party/home. The ones who can't live without weed/booze have their pantry full, they don't ask, "Oye, Kaakey! Aaj barbecue party mein daaru shaaru milega ke nahin?"

I know that suddenly everyone is an upright law abiding citizen (yeah right 🌝) but kinda important to remember that weed/pot is pretty common for people who self-medicate, usually because of a number of things, like undiagnosed learning disabilities ADHD/ADD, anxiety, depression etc also pretty common for introverts in social gatherings.. aka liquor courage. I have friends who work/function better on pot than any Pharma antidepressant/or Ritalin.. I myself used to use coke/speed (when broke.. coke is EXPENSIVE) in parties/social gatherings or as soon as the group got bigger than five people.. just so that I’d be able to focus on the conversations at hand (god damn, it’s tiring and takes its toll on your body.. like everything starts to ache in the long run). Not recommended.. But now since I got my ADD diagnoses a year ago.. I am still doing “speed“ but it’s just that it’s labeled “legal speed” lol. Anyway, I hope no one reports me to CBI/Narc now.. Oh god! But since I don’t live in India, it’s be fun (in a sad way) to see them wasting tax-payers money on a foreign national. 😆
