As I said if she has done anything illegal ,action should be taken against her just like they do with common man and not just against DP who ever is doing illegal things should be punished , so why no action against self confessed drug addict Kangana, why no action against 90% Bollywood celebrities because as per rumour drugs are very common in Bollywood. But no the raid, enquiry will be against those who is not supporters of the government.

I hate this media trial, leaking something which is under investigation is the new trend , for them this is just a breaking news , trp booster . Drugs are illegal in India , if she used it , it is against law but portraying her as a criminal, directly linking her with Sushant's murder is a cruel thing to do.

The focus on illegal activities in Bollywood, glamorous industry is just to divert the real problems India is facing right now. It is not like they are really anxious about the health of actors or anybody for that matter .

I was talking about marijuana specifically. And yes homosexuality was banned till 2018. And it was considered “against the nature” which was considered as a crime. If you’re talking about how laws are absolutely correct, I’m telling you no, laws changed over the years.

Alcohol and cigarettes are more harmful than marijuana but people are still doing it. It is the least addictive drug.Plus many countries made it legal.. if it was that poisonous why would they do that. Medical marijuana actually helps Parkinson patients, HIV patients. It kinda works likes medicine if you take it on small amount... if you consume large about of it daily of course it will have side affects.. just like alcohol poisoning or lung cancer(due smoking). I’m only taking about weed not any hard drugs.

I don’t give a shit about rich, celebrities or politicians.It’s not always about gain or lose.I go according to my own. I don’t hate anyone because they’re rich or poor. I say what I believe is right. I took Homosexuality as an example how laws are ever changing.. it was illegal until 2018.. you never know when marijuana also become legal in India.

And my point still stands you can not compare homosexuality with drug usage... You can not compare the oppression of an entire community with something like whether it's okay to use weed or not!!! people can live easily with not using weed but people can't live with their sexuality being invalidated... Next time use examples that's not about basic human rights

Just because weed is legal in other parts of the world doesn't mean you can go willy nilly and buy weed off illegal methods in India.

I'm all for legalizing weed but it's not yet legal in India so you have to abide by the law until such a time when it gets legal.

There are no two ways around it. You smoke weed in India, you are breaking the law.

It has to be noted that sometimes drugs can worsen a depression as people don't react the same way to these chemicals.

Exactly this! If these people are outlaws then it might be hard for them to get away. Asian countries are very harsh wish with drugs-which is understandable.

I find it a pity that these women seem to be scapegoats. Maybe they are recreational users or maybe addicts I don't know but it's certain they aren't the only users in the industry.

As long as they comply with the law, it might go well. But I wonder if it'll end up affecting their careers.

If they are recreational users, I hope for them that next time they indulge in their vice in a country where it's legal or stop this alltogether to avoid this situation.

If they are addict,I hope it's the wake up call they needed to get better.

Yeah, one of the big problems with unregulated drugs like weed is that doctors won't be able to monitor what effect it has on a particular person. Alcohol is the same way - some might become happy and giddy but others will become more depressed when drunk.

Deepika seems so slow and out of it in interviews and it seemed to get worse over the years. I thought it might be side effects of her depression medication but now I won't be surprised if the drugs she was smoking up were affecting her. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should.

They are making some drugs legal for the same reasons alcohol and cigarettes are. It's so these states will get the money through taxes that would have gone into the black market ortherwise.

It's true that some drugs help to relieve the pain but it's also true that they can also irreversibly damage some people's brain.

Comparing a choice with something that's not a choice is not cool though. One can choose to smoke but one cannot choose his/her's preferences.
